Walking is for Winners

couples-walkingWalking is one of the best exercises for healthy living. Most everyone can participate. All one needs is a good pair of tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, a good place to walk, and a little motivation. For beginners, the key is consistency. Start out by walking a a moderate pace for 15 minutes. Gradually increase time walked over a few weeks. Strive for 30-45 minutes per session, 2-3 times per week. As you develop endurance, increase your pace.
